This is a 2003 Pelican Explorer canoe.  It has three seats, four rod holders, and even four drink holders.  We all enjoy fishing, so this boat has lots of opportunity for use.  North Carolina has some GREAT canoeing waters, from many lakes and rivers to the marshlands on the coast.  Also, living so close to Fort Bragg, we have access to their 13 fishing lakes that are all located on the base.

 Here she is, brand new, waiting for me to finish putting her  together.
